Brett Sutton and Susan Hatmaker are experienced litigators and advisors in all aspects of employment law. Given that experience, they are well qualified to serve as mediators and will bring a unique, team approach to mediation of employment law cases.

Management Training/Seminars

Every year, Mr. Sutton and Ms. Hatmaker are featured speakers for a variety of industry groups and professional organizations including human resource associations on a variety of topics related to labor and employment law. Additionally, our firm regularly provides in-house training to management on topics such as anti-harassment training or training relating to union avoidance. Over the years, our firm has literally trained thousands of managers throughout California.

Workplace Investigations

Our firm has conducted or supervised many workplace investigations most often related to employee claims of harassment, discrimination or retaliation. We can conduct the investigation ourselves, direct the use of another outside investigator, or advise the client on doing its own investigation.
